For the third time Yomei participated on the Salone del Mobile in Milan. The booth in Hall 6 was primarily stocked with "classics" as the Magic Desk, the Magic Cube, or the Drive coffee table but also new developments such as the Cinderella shoe cabinet were shown. The international audience showed great interest and the booth was well attended throughout the duration of the fair.
This year Yomei presented its novelties on two booths in Hall 11.3. On the first booth the Matrix Shelf was shown in combination with the new variable matrix Lowboard system, which can be strung together and stacked as well. A smart TV solution is also available. In the second booth the first time a furniture program was presented in a mix of solid wood and leather. The response of the professional public on the new items was pleasingly positive.
From 24th July to 02nd August, Berenberg German Polo Masters took place in Keitum, Sylt. This year Yomei was as exhibitor there as well, to present their innovative product to the international public.
From 2015 the Yomei collection will be available ib Cairo, Egypt as well. Yomei ist collaborating with the company Style Design, which was founded in 1989 and oparates two stores / showrooms in Cairo. Partner of Style Design are leading European and American brands such as Vitra, Flexform or Herman Miller, now Yomei is one of them.
Yomei GmbH has invested in a modern CNC-controlled machining center to increase the capacity for the production and to be able to produce new innovative products. The production on this new machine is now running since the beginning of October.
End of June there was a special event for the YOMEI team. Through the intervention of Bernd Lewe, the CEO of Seemann interior company in Bielefeld, YOMEI was given the opportunity to present their collection at Chapter Leineweber with about 44 members as part of an extensive breakfast.
For the first time Yomei GmbH exhibited at the „neue räume“ in Zurich-Oerlikon, Switzerland. Over its six days, around 25.000 design fans visited the international “neue räume 11” furniture and interior design exposition in the ABB halls.
